The most direct route is to enter Gortner Avenue from Larpenteur Ave. UMN doors are currently locked to the public so if you have a sample to hand-deliver it is recommended you call or email in advance to make arrangements for drop off. When you arrive at the eastern-facing doors of Stakman Hall during business hours, call our phone to drop off a sample. (See map below)
The Gortner Ave entrance has stairs. For anyone with mobility issues, please call or email us in advance and if possible we will make a arrangements to meet you outside.

Where to Park:
- The closest legal parking is at meters on Gortner or Folwell Ave (see map below)
- Public parking (pay lot) is also available in lot S106 on Upper Buford Circle. If you park on Upper Buford Circle you can walk to the Stakman hall entrance by using the sidewalk that goes between Alderman Hall and the Soil Science Building (see map below). Metered parking is a pay-by-plate system.
