The most direct route is to enter Gortner Avenue from Larpenteur Ave. The Gortner Ave entrance has stairs. For anyone with mobility issues, please call or email us in advance and if possible we will make an arrangement to meet you outside (612-625-1275). Most UMN doors are currently locked to the public so you can only enter through the eastern-facing doors of Stakman Hall which are open M-F 8am-5pm. (See map below)

Where to Park:
- The closest legal parking is at meters on Gortner or Folwell Ave (see map below)
Public parking (pay lot) is also available in lot S106 on Upper Buford Circle. If you park on Upper Buford Circle you can walk to the Stakman hall entrance by using the sidewalk that goes between Alderman Hall and the Soil Science Building (see map below). Metered parking is a pay-by-plate system.
